Equippers International started its teaching and equipping ministry over 15 years ago. The motivation for this ministry came out of a keen awareness that most of the body of Christ in Africa has not been taught the foundational principles of the New Testament. As a result most in the body of Christ are not growing up into the Head who is Jesus and functioning according to their God given design and purpose with His body. So it was with the goal to see each member of the body of Christ equipped in these foundational principles that Equippers International began reaching out to the african church. While one may say that to equip the entire african church is an impossible task, we simply believe that Jesus' mandate to make disciples is the most effective way to reach the world. So with this mandate, we implement a simple but effective approach to ministry. Through a process of prayer and faith in the Holy Spirit's leadership, we develop relationships with men and women throughout Africa and Asia who have a similar burden to see the body equipped according to Ephesians 4:11-16. By developing these relationships we are able to mentor and disciple these men and women with a view to see them equipped to teach and train the church. We see this pattern clearly set forth by Paul when he told Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:2 - "These things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."

Throughout the years we have seen the faithfulness of the Lord to bless our commitment to make disciples. Presently our teaching and equipping ministry has touched the church in over 15 countries throughout Africa and Asia. The most encouraging thing about our ministry is that in each country there are numerous faithful men and women who are presently carrying out their own God given call to teach and equip the body in their own country. Many of these faithful servants of the Lord also reach outside of their own borders to encourage and teach others in neighboring countries.
